IDENTITY

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2 : 9            
We are specially made by God not because of what we do, but rather because of His love for us. He already loved us even before knowing or even if you don’t know Him. It doesn’t matter if we recognise this identity which He has given to us because of the Love through His Son Jesus Christ, nobody can take it from us if we don’t allow it. I believe when one  have a right, it is not ideal for him to leave this right to be taken from him. No matter the sins you might have committed because some people think that their sins are unforgiven, that is not true. Jesus Christ has paid the price for your sins therefore there is no unforgiven sin. In Psalm 82 : 6 the psalmist says that ” we are gods, and all of us are children of the Most High”. The question is how are we gods? In Genesis the bible says that God created us in His own image and if we have been created like that whom are we then – gods because chicken will always give birth to chicken and lion will always give birth to lion. According to the scripture, it did not say some people, but it says ”ALL OF US”.  What God is expecting from us is to come back to Him like the prodigal son who after spending his portion of his father’s wealth went back to his father and ask for forgiveness and the father forgave him.  So brethren, i believe we have to go back to our father and possess those great mansions He has kept for us.

BELIEVE

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also and greater works than these he will do because I go to My Father - John 14 : 12
We should believe in Him because He has given us victory in all area of our life no matter your circumstances. That situation is just for a while. All you need is to be firme without fear because He has given you all it will take to fulfil that great works you were created for.You are not in this world by mistake. You are here to put smile on many people. You will be very useful and helpful to many if, you don't allow that situation which you feel is very difficult to take you away from your dream. Pursue your dream without fear or doubt because the seed to fulfil that dream is in you. Believe and you will see the goodness of God.

WAIT PATIENTLY

When you are lonely, remember that it is for a season and God will always give you those good and perfect friends that you need to take you to the level God want you to be, if you can just decide to wait patiently and place your trust on Him because the scripture says that ''As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend'' - Proverbs 27 : 17. The divine connections that you need at any given time is in the hand of God so don't be disappointed if people has abandoned you for any reason.

THE POWER OF NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE WORDS

Adam and Eve listened to the negative words of the serpent that brought contamination to mankind, forgetting the positive words God spoke to them and God decided to give us another opportunity because of His love and mercy for us by sending His Son Jesus Christ so that the contamination will be removed from our life. For us not to make another mistake, He gave us the right to choose between life through Jesus Christ or death through sin and disobedience. I believe it is better for us to choose life and continue to obey His commandments. We should learn not to dwell in the negative words that people speaks into our lives.
Jesus Christ said, ''you are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what His master is doing, but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father, I have made known to you.'' - John 15 : 14 - 15.  We should serve Him with all our heart because His sceond coming is at hand and let us embrace His promises so that we can be among those that will inherit His kingdom.

COURAGE

Don't give room to what you are afraid of, so that it will not have any root in your life.

THE POWER OF RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

Jesus grave is empty and He is the first that has resurrected and this is the great happiness of easter and we have to be happy because His death is not in vain. And our faith is not in vain and His resurrection gave us hope. The scripture says, ''And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty'' - 1 Corinthians 15 : 14.
''And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile, you are still in your sins'' - 1 Corinthians 15 : 17. This is what gave us the redemptive power. We are no more slaves to sin. Therefore, let us believe in this sacrifice which gives us salvation, hope and the guarantee of our faith through Him. After the resurrection, the body of Christ did things that He could'nt do before, such as when He appears suddenly in a room without opening the door, coming out of the grave. 
''But someone will say, how are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come? Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain - perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases and to each seed its own body'' - 1 corithians 15 : 35 - 38. 
''However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural and afterward the spiritual. The first man was of the earth, made of dust, the second Man is the Lord from heaven'' - 1 corinthians 15 : 46 - 47.  

IMPORTANCE OF CRUCIFIXION

''Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land'' - Matthew 27 : 45; Mark 15 : 33; Luke 23 : 44. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice saying, ''Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani that is My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?'' Matthew 27 : 46; Mark 15 : 34. He went to the cross because of you and me for the sins He did not commit. He did not disobey the Father. He was taken to the cross like a sheep because of our sins, problems, poverty, sicknesses, difficulties, backwardness, stagnancy, hatred, barrenness so that through His blood we will be free from all these problems. When He was being crucified, even the disciples that were with Him became hopeless, family members became hopeless, the Father could'nt help Him so that what has be written could be fulfil. Now, let us examine ourselves, how many of us will be ready to do this for his fellow human being? Absolutely no one. After the sacrifice which has made you and me a free man and a free woman today, what did He say we should do? He only demanded us to believe in Him and follow His commandments. I believe this is a sacrifice we have to appreciate with all our mind by accepting Him as our Lord and personal saviour. He is ever ready to forgive us no matter the level of the sins we might have committed.
''And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit'' - Matthew 27 : 50; Mark 15 : 37; Luke 23 : 46. ''Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom and the earth quaked and the rocks were split'' - Matthew 27 : 51; Mark 15 : 18; Luke 23 : 45. This is the point where you and me have the right today to call on the Father anytime, anywhere. There was no more secret in the Most Holy place. It was at this point that many who were with Him really believe that He was the Son of God. The bible make us to understand that forever the Word of God is settled in heaven. Despite the fact that His people which He has come to die for did not recognise Him, that does not make Him to refuse paying for our iniquities He still went to the cross because of His love for us and nailed it there through which we have the redemptive power today.
