PHILIPPIANS 3 : 13

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press toward the goal for the  prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus - Philippians 3 : 13 - 14.
We should forget those things that are behind us as Apostle Paul said whether good or bad so that we can have the strength to press forward because God does not want us to remain in that past blessing. There is a different blessings lined up for us everyday therefore no matter how great the blessing might be, we should give thanks to God the giver and expect more from Him because more are yet to come so we should not  allow the weight of the past to weigh us down or deprive us from receiving the new blessings He has prepared for us.
It does not matter how great our sins might be, He said He will remember them no more so we should stop reminding Him of it. What He expect from us is to keep pressing forward everyday for a new blessing.
Lord, help us to be faithful to You no matter the level of blessing we receive from You in Jesus name.

1 JOHN 2 : 15

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone
loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world - 1 John 2 : 15 - 16.

ECCLESIASTES 11 : 5

As you do not know what is the way of the wind or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, so you do not know the works of God who makes everything.

WORDS OF WISDOM

There is no absolute finish line for everyone in the race of life. Our tracks are different, our lanes are different & our durations are different. The only thing we have in common is the same umpire. For instance one person graduates at age 20 & struggles for another five years to get a job, another might graduate at age 25 & gets a job immediately. One may graduate and make 10,000 € a month, another might have dropped out out of school and slowly starts making 5,000 € a month. One can marry a virgin & wait for the next decade to have the blessings of children, another lady probably after having series of abortions in her past, becomes a mum almost immediately after marriage. A fellow becomes MD at 38 and dies at 56, another becomes MD at 55 and lives to 90, what a life.
Life is full of twists, turns, test, ups & downs and many more surprises & disappointments .
Life offers each one of us different opportunities in different places and at different times. Stop judging people and comparing yourself with others. Value your uniqueness and trust in God. At the end of the day, what matters most is where you stand with God.

WORDS OF ADVICE

An Angel says, 'Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.'
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health..

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.

12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

24. Make friends with Godly people..

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you Jesus '

27. Laugh.

28.. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.

33 Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

'If God is for us, who can be against us?'
(Romans 8:31)
